With Easter almost upon us, now is a good time to make sure that your students are correctly set up for revision. Here is what to do.
1. Go to your Student Set List
2. For each student set you want revision for, select “Topics for revision” from the Actions dropdown. If it’s not visible, check you have a syllabus set for the student set. If it’s still not visible, you’re out of luck. We don’t have topic mapping for that syllabus yet. Write to me and I’ll help you set it up for yourself.
3. From the Topics popup, select all the topics that have so far been covered in class. Do not add topics that should have been covered but weren’t. Yacapaca can’t do that job for you, sorry!
Click OK. You’re done.
4. This is what the student sees
Revision is pinned to the top of the to-do list, and looks like a quiz. The difference is that the student chooses how long to revise for, and the questions are algorithmically selected to be optimum for that particular student.
You can track who did how much revision. Offers of prizes for the most revision could work wonders.
