More flexible Course authoring

You can now include any quiz in any course – even if you did not author the quiz yourself. This enables you to compile courses for any purpose – for example to support your new Computing syllabus – on the fly.

The corollary is also true: you are no longer required to add a quiz to any course if you have no particular need to. This cuts down the time it takes to create a quiz, especially as quizzes can now also be compiled from any question in the entire question bank.

To add a quiz to an existing course, use the Add a Quiz button shown here.

To create a new course, use the Build a New Course button at the bottom of the courses list for any given syllabus. The sequence is to create the course first, including a description and attachments, then add quizzes to it.
